Zirka Pol Espargaro
Pol Espargaro Villà wurde am 10. Juni 1991 geboren und ist ein spanischer Grand-Prix-Motorradrennfahrer. Im Jahr 2023 trat er in der MotoGP-Klasse für das neu gegründete Team GasGas Factory Racing an, bei dem es sich um ein Tech3-Entwicklungsteam handelt, das KTM-Maschinen einsetzt. Im Anschluss an seine Rennkarriere wird Pol Espargaró Villà als Testfahrer für die Firma KTM arbeiten. Zuvor war er zwei Jahre lang Mitglied des Repsol Honda Teams.
Die Moto2-Weltmeisterschaft 2013 machte Pol, den jüngeren Bruder seines MotoGP-Kollegen Aleix Espargaró, am berühmtesten. Aus diesem Grund konnte er 2014 zum Monster Yamaha Tech3 wechseln, hatte jedoch drei meist schlechte Saisons, in denen es ihm nicht gelang, auf dem Podium zu stehen.
Pol Espargaro Zusammen mit Bradley Smith und Katsuyuki Nakasuga gewann er 2015 die 8 Stunden von Suzuka und 2016 erneut mit Nakasuga und Alex Lowes. Er ist der erste MotoGP-Fahrer, der mit einer KTM-Maschine auf dem Podium stand.
